Wow! where to begin? so much has happen over the last few months so here we go…
It’s no secret that we’ve had some delays with recording the new album, from Kurt and Sam leaving the band and having to find new member/s to having to re-record the album! Well we’ve finally finished it and with all the delays our release date has been put back to June 6th. We’re dead chuffed to be working with some such awesome people this time around, firstly in UK LOCKJAW RECORDS will be releasing it and over in Europe our good friends FOND OF LIFE RECORDS (Gemany/Austria), FUNTIME RECORDS (Belgium), SHIELD RECORDINGS (Netherlands), NO REASON RECORDS (Italy), BAD MOOD RECORDS (France/Switzerland) are all teaming up to work along side us! Also our good friends The Don Ramos Players have seriously done a solid for us with this release, Johnfold has been doing all the artwork and it looks soooo awesome and Smittens is only drinking away 90% of his student loan so that he can release the record on 12” through his label BH9 Records!
We’ve just uploaded 2 new songs taken from our new album “What Keeps You Breathing” for your listening pleasure. The first being the title track of the album and the second being “Maybe Escapes” Which some of you may recognize if you’ve picked up a copy of this months or last months Rocksound Magazine. Well, that was the demo version so here’s the fully finished version. We can’t thank people enough for the positive response we’ve been getting from the new songs, being the first record with our new singer! Speaking of Rock Sound Magazine, you can still get the Lockjaw Compilation with this months issue exclusively at HMV, last issue it was with Tesco and next month it is with W.H Smiths, so make sure you grab a copy.
Some of you who came down to the video shoot for “Our Yesterday’s” video last year were wondering where the video has got to!? Well, Abi and her crew are working on it as we speak now that they have the new recordings so it should be with us in the coming weeks, we’re hoping that it’ll be submitted for Scuzz! I’ve seen a few clips of it and let me tell you it’s looking special!
We’ve also got some awesome shows coming up in May, including Crash Doubt Fest which we’re organizing. It’s gunna be an absolutely epic weekend, if you don’t know about it, search it, get a ticket and get boozy, there are so many awesome bands playing that weekend! so you really don’t wanna miss out! Also our tour plans kick off from 7th June - we head to Europe for 27 dates and then UK for 18 dates from 13th July. I can tell you that we’ll be hitting France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium but our official tour dates will be announced in the coming weeks so hold tight!
