Unfortunately our friends in Sweet Empire can no longer come over this month for our joint tour of the UK. We’ve decided not to continue the tour by ourselves, and we send our dutch friends all our love. Hopefully we’ll all get to see they’re lovely faces in the UK in the not too distant future.

As promised, we have some big news regarding “What Keeps You Breathing” being pressed to vinyl. We know it’s belated - we’ve had a few labels interested but sadly back out last minute - but we’ve decided to form our own little DIY label called BLACK CLOUD RECORDS and press the bitch ourselves! It’s going to be a limited press of 250 on colored 12” and will be up for pre-order in the next few days, so keep posted.

Hello everyone! We’re back in the country now after a few weeks in Europe! It’s been the first trip since our new record has been released and it has been so awesome! Thank you to everyone who has put us on, fed us, put up with our stench and come out to see us, We’ve been looked after so well!

We’re only home for a few weeks then it’s back out to the mainland for more touring. Dates will be announced in the next few days, expect to see us in… Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Rep, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Romania, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France as well as a few weeks in UK. We decided long before we recorded that we wanted to give the album away for free on our site so here it is, just click the link on the right side panel. Burn it to CD, stick it on your Ipod, send it to your friends, do with it as you will but please, instead, support us by using that money to come to see us on our tour or buy us a beer!

You’re probably thinking “why the hell have they pressed it to CD?!” Well we wanted to get some copies to sell at our shows for cheap (£5) and those who have already bought the CD will probably agree that they’d prefer something to hold in their hands and look at so it is still available on CD and soon to be on 12” too!

So 2 years after releasing our previous record “Ways To Escape” it’s been a long journey of member changes, songwriting and rehearsing but it’s all been worth it! We’re finally releasing our new record “What Keeps You Breathing” tomorrow! We know it’s a real cliche thing to say but it feels bloody good to be releasing what we think is our best stuff yet! A lot of hard work has gone into these 11 new songs so we hope you spend just a much time listening to them as we have writing them!

You probably already know but our album is being bought out by a whole gang of friends… Lockjaw Records, No Reason Records, Fond Of Life Records, Bad Mood Records, Funtime Records and Shield Recordings, it’s a real group effort and it’s good to be teaming up with such gentlemen! The album is going to be available for very cheap and should be all over in the coming weeks! There will also be the release of the record on 12” in the coming weeks, more details on that soon, but for now, get yourself off redtube, get yourself an early night and go get our new album first thing tomorrow!

Wow! where to begin? so much has happen over the last few months so here we go…

It’s no secret that we’ve had some delays with recording the new album, from Kurt and Sam leaving the band and having to find new member/s to having to re-record the album! Well we’ve finally finished it and with all the delays our release date has been put back to June 6th. We’re dead chuffed to be working with some such awesome people this time around, firstly in UK LOCKJAW RECORDS will be releasing it and over in Europe our good friends FOND OF LIFE RECORDS (Gemany/Austria), FUNTIME RECORDS (Belgium), SHIELD RECORDINGS (Netherlands), NO REASON RECORDS (Italy), BAD MOOD RECORDS (France/Switzerland) are all teaming up to work along side us! Also our good friends The Don Ramos Players have seriously done a solid for us with this release, Johnfold has been doing all the artwork and it looks soooo awesome and Smittens is only drinking away 90% of his student loan so that he can release the record on 12” through his label BH9 Records!

We’ve just uploaded 2 new songs taken from our new album “What Keeps You Breathing” for your listening pleasure. The first being the title track of the album and the second being “Maybe Escapes” Which some of you may recognize if you’ve picked up a copy of this months or last months Rocksound Magazine. Well, that was the demo version so here’s the fully finished version. We can’t thank people enough for the positive response we’ve been getting from the new songs, being the first record with our new singer! Speaking of Rock Sound Magazine, you can still get the Lockjaw Compilation with this months issue exclusively at HMV, last issue it was with Tesco and next month it is with W.H Smiths, so make sure you grab a copy.

Some of you who came down to the video shoot for “Our Yesterday’s” video last year were wondering where the video has got to!? Well, Abi and her crew are working on it as we speak now that they have the new recordings so it should be with us in the coming weeks, we’re hoping that it’ll be submitted for Scuzz! I’ve seen a few clips of it and let me tell you it’s looking special!

We’ve also got some awesome shows coming up in May, including Crash Doubt Fest which we’re organizing. It’s gunna be an absolutely epic weekend, if you don’t know about it, search it, get a ticket and get boozy, there are so many awesome bands playing that weekend! so you really don’t wanna miss out! Also our tour plans kick off from 7th June - we head to Europe for 27 dates and then UK for 18 dates from 13th July. I can tell you that we’ll be hitting France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium but our official tour dates will be announced in the coming weeks so hold tight!

As some of you know we’re organising Crash Doubt Fest held in Lincoln on 14th and 15th May at the Duke of Wellington. It’s spread over 3 stages and there’s so many awesome bands playing (74 to be exact) and loads of distros, BBQ, beer garden so it’s the perfect way to start summer!
